TVS Motors recorded a marginal increase in total sales recording 175,931 units in January 2013 against 173,514 units registered in January 2012.
TVS Motors has reported total sales of 175,931 units in January 2013 compared to 173,514 units sold in the same month last year i.e January 2012
In the Two wheeler segment, TVS Motors Domestic sales accounted for 154,107 units comapared to 153,104 units in January 2012 and company sold 17,406 units in January 2013 via exports [ Down from 18,008 units in January 2012 ].
Totally, the company had sold 171,513 units of Two Wheelers in January 2013 compared to 171,112 units in January 2012.
Out of this, Motorcycles and Scooters registered sales of 64,555 units and 37,946 units in January 2013 respectively
Company sold 4,418 units of its Three Wheelers in January 2013 compared to 2,402 units in January 2012

Hero MotorCorp Limited Sales
Hero MotoCorp Limited [ HMCL ], the world’s largest two wheeler manufacturer sold a record 5,57,797 units of two wheelers in January 2013 showing an increase of 7.21 per cent in its sales compared to January 2012
This was Hero MotorCorp ‘s highest ever monthly sales, the previous one was May 2012 when it sold 5,56,644 units.
Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales, Hero MotoCorp Anil Dua said
“With this record performance, we have made a confident beginning to the new year. Our new motorcycle launches like Ignitor and Passion X-Pro are receiving excellent customer response, while growth in our scooters, Pleasure & Maestro, is outpacing the industry growth. The overall two-wheeler industry is again showing good volumes, and we are hopeful of keeping up the momentum.”

Yamaha Motors Sales
Yamaha Motor sold 29,785 units of its two wheelers in January 2013 in domestic market, marking an increase of about 13.25 per cent compared to January 2012 where it sold 26,300 units
India Yamaha Motor national business head Roy Kurian said
