TVS Motor Sales August 2013

TVS Motor Company sold a total of 155,532 units of its vehicles in August 2013 against 154,647 units in August 2012.

TVS Two Wheeler Sales

The company sold a total of 148,469 units of its two wheeler sales in August 2013 compared to 150,740 units in August 2012.
Domestic sales stood at 127,095 units in August 2013, down from 135,513 units in August 2012.

Scooters registered sales of 36,478 units in August 2013 against 38,193 units last year
Motorcycles sales grew by 14 per cent from 53,673 units in August 2012 to 61,313 units in August 2013.

Exports
Exports witnessed a growth of nearly 53 per cent, with sales increasing from 17,934 units in August 2012 to 27,425 units in August 2013.
Two wheeler exports registered a growth of 40 per cent with sales increasing from 15,227 units in August 2012 to 21,374 units in August 2013.

TVS Three Wheeler Sales

Three wheeler sales of TVS grew 81 per cent, from 3,907 units in August 2012 to 7,063 units in August 2013.

Bajaj Auto Sales August 2013

Bajaj Auto Sold a total of 3,12,188 units of its vehicles in Aug 2013 compared to 3,44,906 units last year

Bajaj Auto sold 2,78,583 units of motorcycles in August 2013 compared to 3,04,352 units last year

Bajaj Auto exports grew by 10 per cent from 1,31,562 units in August 2012 to 1,44,160 units in 2013

The company also sold 33,605 units of its commercial vehicles compared to 40,554 units in August last year

Hero MotoCorp Sales August 2013

Hero MotoCorp Sales increased by 3.64 per cent in August. It sold 4,59,996 units of its vehicles in August 2013 compared to 4,43,801 units last year

Anil Dua, Vice President, Marketing and Sales , Hero MotoCorp Senior said

“Registering growth in both retail as well as dispatch sales despite weak market sentiments has come about due to several initiatives undertaken in recent times.
“Our five-year warranty programme supported by strong communication campaigns and various ground-level activation initiatives have given a boost to our sales, particularly at retail level.”
