TVS July 2013 Sales
TVS Motor Company Sold a total of 153,676 units of its vehicles in July 2013 against 161,255 units in July 2012.
The company registered total two wheeler sales of 146,671 units in July 2013 against 157,954 units last year.
Domestic sales stood at 126,531 units in July 2013 against 140,862 units in July 2012.
Motorcycles sales grew by 8 per cent from 53,355 units in July 2012 to 57,886 units in July 2013.
Scooters sales accounted for 36,900 units in July 2013 against 40,895 units in the same month of the previous year.
The company sold 7,005 units of its three wheelers in July 2013 compared to just 3,301 units in July 2012 .
The company’s total exports grew by 37 per cent with sales increasing from 19,142 units in the month of July 2012 to 26,145 units in July 2013.
Two wheeler exports registered a growth of 18 per cent with sales increasing from 17,092 units in July 2012 to 20,140 units in July 2013.
Bajaj July 2013 Sales
Bajaj sold 281,327 Vehicles in July 2013 [Including 110,023 vehicles exported] compared to 344,150 July 2012 .
Bajaj sold 246,828 Motor Cycles in July 2013 compared to 308,858 July 2012
Hero Motor Corp July 2013 Sales
Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two wheeler manufacturer sold 4,87,545 units of its vehicles in July 2013 compared to 4,84,217 units last year
Anil Dua, Hero MotoCorp Senior Vice President (Marketing and Sales) said
“Our growth in July has come in the wake of good demand for our motorcycle brands such as Glamour and Ignitor and our scooter models Pleasure and Maestro. We are hopeful of sustaining this positive momentum in the coming months as we gear up for the festive season which would see a slew of launches from us. In terms of new international markets, Peru in Latin America is going to be the company’s next port of call where the firm will commence its operation in August “
Honda July 2013 Sales
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited (HMSI) sold 287,177 units of its two wheelers in in July 2013 against 239,094 units in July 2012, posting a twenty per cent growth.
Motorcycle sales accounted for 147,635 units and 139,542 units Scooter were sold in July,2013.
Y S Guleria, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd. said
“Today Honda created a new chapter in its Indian operations with three new records, in July 13, Honda have achieved highest ever sales, highest domestic market share of 24 % and also became 2nd largest player in domestic and export sales in two wheeler industry. This is largely attributed to the overwhelming demand for Dream series and the increase in production with start of 2nd production line at the third factory in Narsarpura, Karnataka.”
