Hyundai Associates with Himachal Pradesh Olympic Festival 2017 as ‘Title Sponsor’

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country’s second largest car manufacturer and largest passenger car exporter is honored to associate with Himachal Pradesh Olympic Association as ‘Title Sponsor’ of ‘Olympic Festival 2017’. The Olympic Festival is scheduled from June 22 -25, 2017 in Hamirpur (HP).

The Olympic festival celebrates the spirit of Olympics and marks the International Olympic Day, providing opportunity to thousands of young athletes to participate and showcase their potential in the field of sports.

Announcing the Association, Mr. Puneet Anand, Sr. GM and Group Head – Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., “Sports is a passion and integral part of our lives. Sports in India has built the bonds and has united the people. At Hyundai, we realize the importance and impact of automobiles in the lives of people and we want them to ‘Experience Hyundai in the same way as they experience Sports with love and passion.”

To reach out to enthusiasts and create excitement, a fleet of 6 Hyundai cars had piloted Olympic Baton Run in 9 districts of Himachal Pradesh and In-Stadia Hyundai will display the popular ‘Hyundai Tucson’ and ‘Hyundai Creta’.

The Olympic festival is a great opportunity to connect with Sports Enthusiasts. The Olympic Festival will be graced with several eminent dignitaries and many excelling sports personalities across different categories. The event will consist of various sport activities like – Hockey, Athletes, Boxing, Basketball, Judo, Kabbadi, Volleyball, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Shooting and Kho Kho.
