Production in Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the first time in three years (since Fiscal Year 2014).

Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the fifth consecutive year (since Fiscal Year 2013), setting an all-time record for fiscal year production. This includes all-timerecords for fiscal year production in North America, Asia, and China.

Worldwide production experienced a year-on-year increase for the fifth consecutive year (since Fiscal Year 2013), setting an all-time record for fiscal year production.

March 2017
Production in Japan for the month of March 2017 experienced a year-on-year decrease for the second consecutive month (since February 2017).

Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the eighth consecutive month (since August 2016), setting record high production for the month of March. This includes record high production in North America, Asia, and China.

Worldwide production experienced a year-on-year increase for the eighth consecutive month (sinceAugust 2016), also setting record high production for the month of March.
