Hero Motocorp starts production in 3 facilities, Bajaj Auto to resume its production, exports gradually in May 2020 |India

The Government has recently notified the permission to reopen major Auto-sector prevailing in India.

The largest manufacturer of Two Wheeler, Hero Motocorp, has recently stated, to commence the Company Vehicles production in facilities. The Company has officially announced, to operate its production in three of its manufacturing plants- including Haryana, Uttarakhand and Global parts Center in Rajasthan.

Hero has reopened its manufacturing plants from today onwards(4th May), while will continue its production activities from coming 6th May 2020. The Company has lawfully obtained permission from the State authority to re-generate all its manufacturing plants and to operate in this tactful situation.
Hero Motocorp also proclaimed, that most of the Customers service work like dealership and workshop faculties will eventually reopen within May 2020.
The Company has been in the ongoing process to restart and operate its production in the market.

Bajaj Auto Industries, a global Two and three-wheeler Company, will resume its production early, at its substantial factory located in Pune, being declared the place as one of the Red zone portion by the Authority.

In the meantime, the headquarters of Pune has Communicated with the authority, to receive their grants, to restart production at the Chakan Plant. The Chakan plant manufactures famous, bikes for brands-including Pulsar, KTM and Chetak.
The Company will allocate to restart exports facilities of KTM bikes to different regions globally including Europe.

Bajaj Auto has exported a total of 37,878 units(includes of both Two-wheeler and Three-wheeler) in April 2020. In April 2020, the Company sold 32,009 units of Two-wheeler in the export markets, with a drop of 80% as compared to the previous year, exported over 160,392 units. Also, the export of Three-wheeler in April 2020, stood at 5869 units with a drop of 81% as compared to 30818 units sold in the previous year.

Hero has also been allowed to securely reopen its plants in regions of Uttarakhand and Aurangabad Plant in Maharashtra. The reopening of the Aurangabad plant in Maharashtra will ground the Company’s to organize and regulate the exports systematically. The company will yield its production with the availability of their past inventories, following the significant guidelines.
