Each and every industry is affected by this coronavirus outbreak in the world. The government has taken strict decisions by locking down the country for some period of time. So, the spread of the virus will slow down. There have been billions of money in the automobile industry. Many of the big automobile events have been cancelled or postponed.

Bajaj Auto has announced that there are zero sales in the month of April. They have sold zero two-wheelers and three-wheelers in the Indian domestic market.However, 32,009 units of motorcycle and scooter are exported out of 37,878 units of vehicles. For a big company like Bajaj Auto, these numbers of units are very less.

Bajaj Auto stated that in April 2020, the two-wheeler export is down by 80% as compared to April 2019. About 1,60,393 units registered in the month of April 2019. And three-wheeler exports are down 81% compared to April 2019. About 30,818 units registered in the month of April 2019 and in April 2020 only 5,869 registered.

The zero sale in the month of April for the company is due to the lockdown in the country which is imposed by the government of India to control the spread of coronavirus in the country.

Bajaj Auto is not only the company which is affected by coronavirus lockdown but other companies related to this field have also experienced zero sales in the month of April.

After getting zero sales in the month of April, Bajaj Auto has made a decision to cut the wages of all the employees who are connected with the company but, yesterday on April 3, 2020, the company has reversed the decision of cutting down the wages of employees.
