Kia upcoming car to feature a new type of camera-based display to solve the issue of blindspots. The system which is used in this car is called Blind-Spot View Monitor. On the door mirror, the wide-angle camera is mounted. The company claims that it features a much wider viewing angle than the standard mirrors which will increase the safety.
On the higher version, Surround-View Monitor, parking collision avoidance and a Bose sound system will be available. The price of the new model of the car is not revealed yet. But it will launch in the second half of the year.
The fourth-age Sorento is an opponent to the Skoda Kodiaq and embraces a plan particularly not quite the same as that of its antecedent or some other Kia sold in Europe. This precise styling, which gorillas the bigger Telluride, is probably going to be an impression of its more prominent deals status in the US than Europe.
The tiger-nose grille of the car which is the brand trademark has been reshaped. It is flanked by a pair of LED headlights. The model aerodynamic efficiency is enhanced with the help of wide lower air intake and air-channelling devices. The rear bumper is also designed to house twin exhaust.
Kia claims the SUV has been “built to amplify driving steadiness in all situations”, with another Terrain Mode helping the wheels to accomplish top footing on a day off, and sloppy ground.
The car will launch with a 2.2-litre diesel engine with a power output of 199bhp. The other is a hybrid powertrain comprising a 1.6-litre petrol engine. A 59bhp electric engine and a 1.5kWh battery for consolidated yields of 227bhp and 258lb ft. There is an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox which sends power to the wheels. The car will be available in the European market in Autumn.
