2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has grabbed Wheels’ 2014 Best Sports Car of the Year title in the Middle East.

2014 Corvette Stingray boasts SAE-certified 455 horsepower and 624 Nm – and 460 horsepower and 630 Nm, with the available performance exhaust system. It is also the most capable standard model ever, with Z51-equipped models able to accelerate from 0 to 100kph in less than 4 seconds and achieve 1.03g in cornering grip.

Maurice Williams, President and Managing Director of GM Middle East Operations said

“We are so pleased that judges have named the all-new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray the 2014 Best Sports Car of the Year. We knew that the muscle car would resonate strongly amongst consumers – after all, it is the most powerful, most capable standard Corvette ever. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray incorporates an all-new frame structure and chassis, a new powertrain and supporting technologies, as well as completely new exterior and interior designs.”
